What makes a good working space in Coventry?
Since working from home became the new normal for many people across the country over the past couple of years, there has even lots of research which shows that getting out of the house for a few hours can increase work productivity and boost morale.
A relaxed, warm-welcoming coffee shop can encourage positive work practices and move you away from those dreaded video calls.
So, what makes a coffee shop a good working space and how does Baxter Baristas meet all of those needs?
Internet - with many people dealing with large files such as video or PowerPoint presentations, it is important that workers have access to the internet with good download and upload speed. Here at 16 Hales St, we have recently upgraded our internet which means we can offer great FREE wifi to all of our visitors.
Electrical charging points - there’s nothing worse than being halfway through an important piece of work and then realising that your laptop, tablet or phone is running out of battery. We have several plug sockets at 16 Hales St which means you can keep yourself topped up with electrical charge, as well as great coffee!
A warm space - with energy bills rising over the past months, it can be expensive to heat a house, especially if it is for the daytime, as well as the evening. Our coffee shop is often described as a cosy space - there’s no need to keep your coat on here!
No pressure on the amount of drinks you order - we want 16 Hales St to be a welcoming space for everyone. We have a great range of drinks and food on offer, however, we don’t want you to feel pressured to order a specific amount when you pay us a visit.
A space for meeting people - for those times you need somewhere to meet somebody else, we have a number of tables available for you - from solo seating to tables that can seat up to ten people. Our spacious coffee shop means your conversations can remain private without the worry of other visitors overhearing.
Early opening times - there’s nothing worse than deciding on a coffee shop to work out of to then find out the doors are closed as they don’t open until mid-morning! We open at 8am every weekday (9am on the weekends), meaning we will be on hand to welcome you with a smile and freshly made food and drink.
Next time you are working in Coventry City Centre, feel free to pay us a visit at 16 Hales St inside the Coventry Transport Museum.
